“The story in the script was about the naked dress, so we knew we had to find one for her. I couldn’t make every dress. So we found a bunch of stuff off the rack. That dress was copied and I think they released it a few times. It was a spaghetti strap slip dress. And again, it's the sign of the times. It was so great to use designer names, as a reference to the times, and to be able to say it’s an Alaïa or Calvin Klein.”
